COMMISSIONS Price guide 2026
Commissioning a work can be a daunting process where you fear that you will receive a work that is not what you hoped for and waste time and money. Usually there is a time that you have in mind for the completion. A birthday or Christmas.
I hope to remove that worry by working with the client throughout the whole process.
While working as a visualizer (an artist who creates drawings from someone else’s ideas) for over 30 years, in London, I was trusted and respected, producing work that fulfilled the clients brief on time.
With this in mind I do not need a deposit and will not charge you until you are completely happy with the final work.
PROCESS.
As a visualizer I often worked from rough doodles given to me to try help explain a clients written and verbal brief. This experience has helped me to get a good feeling about what is required.
Initial brief.
After discussing what is required regarding subject, location and other details, for example if working from life or from photographs.
I will produce several layout proposals in black and white for your approval.
Commencement of Painting.
As the work develops, I will supply 'work in progress' images for any comments and adjustments.
Final approval
Before the painting is signed and completed a final viewing will be required before delivery.
Delivery
Only when you are completely satisfied with the work will payment be required.
